Orlee R. Turitz, PCC, CYPFC, is the Founder and Managing Principal of Orlee|Golden, LLC. A trained executive and family coach, Orlee has helped senior leaders and managers excel, new supervisors get their bearings, and has led strategic planning processes helping organizations find their focus. Orlee also teaches leadership classes and training sessions nationally on subjects including visioning, strategic planning, conflict resolution, non-profit Board governance, management vs. leadership, innovation and change management, lay-professional partnerships, and managing up. Ms. Turitz specializes in strategic planning, team conflict resolution and facilitates group conversations on focused achievement, building trust, role definition, mission statements, spiritual growth and diversity.
Orlee has held positions in the corporate and non-profit sector, working in diverse areas, organizational systems and processes, supervising marketing, programming, education and global divisions, as well as human resources, economic consulting and accounting. Orlee served as the Chief of Staff of Momentum Unlimited, a global mid-size nonprofit, doubling revenue, growing staff and opening a new strategic direction during her tenure. But her most salient skill is her insatiable curiosity and ability to ask the powerful question. Orlee has served on and led several non-profit Boards of Directors and consults within the non-profit governance arena. Ms. Turitz earned her coaching certification from the acclaimed Georgetown University Executive Leadership Coaching Program and has worked with individuals from Fortune 500 companies, entertainment, public service and entrepreneurs as well as non-profit senior management teams and people in transition, including new managers, supervisors, parents back to work, and approaching retirees.
Ms. Turitz is ICF certified at the PCC level and certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Instrument and the Leadership Circle 360.
Orlee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College, Columbia University. She resides in Silver Spring, Maryland in her empty nest with her husband. She has four children who have flown the coop and is most proud of her new status as “Nana.”
